Arrest made in deadly shooting at nightclub in Allentown

A fight took a deadly turn during a night out in Allentown this past weekend, and now a suspected shooter has been taken into custody.

What we know:

Four victims, three men and one woman, were found with multiple gunshot wounds at the BKK Lounge on Union Boulevard around 4 a.m. Sunday.

All four were transported to a local hospital, where one victim succumbed to his injuries upon arrival. He was identified as 32-year-old Ivan Diaz Jr.

The other three victims are expected to survive.

Less than 12 hours later, David Isaiah Rivera was arrested for his role in the deadly shooting and charged with criminal homicide, attempted murder and aggravated assault among other related offenses.

The backstory:

Police say the incident began as an argument between two groups inside the nightclub, which then spilled out into the parking lot.

When security attempted to separate the groups, officials say Rivera pulled out a gun and fired shots at multiple victims, killing Diaz.

One of the groups, which authorities say included two shooters, fled in two different vehicles.

Two different caliber shell casings were later recovered in front of the club.

What we don't know:

Police have yet to give further details about what started the initial fight.

The conditions of the remaining three victims is also unknown, along with a description of the suspected second shooter.
