1 person treated at row home fire in West Philadelphia

WEST PHILADELPHIA (FOX 29) - One person is medically treated as firefighters battle a row home fire Saturday.

Firefighters got the call just before 2 p.m. Saturday for a fire at a row home on the 5400 block of Baltimore Avenue.

Crews confronted heavy smoke and fire when they arrived on the scene. They battled about an hour, placing the fire under control after 3:00 p.m.

One person received medical care at the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
