16-year-old shot in the face in West Philadelphia
A shooting near a SEPTA station left a teen boy with a gunshot wound to the face.
PHILADELPHIA - Another teen boy became the victim of gun violence when police say a shooting erupted at a SEPTA station in West Philadelphia Friday night.
Officers arrived to find the 16-year-old with a gunshot wound to the face near 52nd and Market streets around 10:30 p.m.
Police say he was shot in the face while sitting on the steps of the 52nd Street Septa station.

The teen was transported to Childrens's Hospital of Philadelphia, where he was placed in critical condition.
Police say the suspect fled, and no arrests have been made. No weapon recovered.
