2 teens injured after double shooting in North Philly: police
PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia police are investigating after a double shooting occurred in North Philly Saturday afternoon.
The shooting comes a day after a deadly plane crash rocked a Northeast Philly neighborhood.
What we know:
At around 1:13 p.m., Philadelphia police responded to a shooting on the 2500 block of North 29th Street.
Upon arrival, they discovered a 15-year-old girl had been shot in her right shoulder and a 16-year-old boy was shot twice in his right thigh.
The 15-year-old was taken to Temple University Hospital by private vehicle where she is listed in stable condition.
Police transported the 16-year-old to Temple University Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.
Both victims are in custody.
No weapons were recovered at the scene.
