2 women dead in Allentown shooting, police say

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (WTXF) - Police in Allentown investigate a deadly shooting.

Police responded to the 900 block of Fifth Street Sunday about 6:15 p.m.

Upon arrival, authorities say they found two people shot. Latricia Ezell, 52-years-old, and Ashley Campfield, 29-years-old, were both found with gunshot wounds.

The Lehigh County Coroner confirmed he responded to the scene. The deaths of both women were ruled homicides by the coroner.

Police say the investigation is ongoing, though it was confirmed that there was no additional threat to the community.
