21-year-old man fatally shot in Trenton, police say

The Mercer County, New Jersey Homicide Task Force is investigating a shooting in Trenton that killed a 21-year-old man.

Police in Trenton were called to the 200 block of Brunswick Avenue, near Southard Street, about 1 a.m. Saturday.

Upon arrival, police discovered 21-year-old Jakim Allen had been shot multiple times in the chest.

Allen succumbed to his injuries later in the day, Saturday.

The Mercer County Homicide Task Force say the investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made.
