56-Year Old Woman Stars in Sports Illustrated Fashion Spread

PHILADELPHIA, PA (WTXF) - Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Issue has become one the magazine's highly anticipated releases.

Some of the publication's rolodex of feature includes supermodels Tyra Banks, Giselle Bunchen and Cindy Crawford.

This year's issue features a woman with a similar grace and style. At 56-years old, Nicola Griffin is the oldest woman to appear in the magazine since 1964.

The veteran model rocks a clad gold bikini demonstrating swimsuit models are not always in their 20s.

"People think you lose your sex appeal as you get older--but that's a myth," Griffin said in a statement. "I've never felt sexier."

Griffin joins supermodel Ashley Graham and Brittish Ghanaiain model Philomena Kwao on a three-pagde ad buy from Swimsuits for All.

The web-based apparel company specializes in sizes 10-34 and calls itself "the leader in swimwear for curvy women."
