AMAZING PHOTO: Boy distracted by phone saved from flying baseball bat

(FOX NEWS INSIDER) - An incredible photo shows a heroic, quick-thinking baseball fan saving a young boy from a bat that went flying into the stands.

According to Pittsburgh Tribune-Review photographer Christopher Horner, it happened at McKechnie Field in Bradenton, Florida, during a spring training game between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Atlanta Braves.

Based on the photo, the boy was looking down at his phone when the bat slipped out of a player's hands, sending it flying into the crowd.

Luckily, the man next to the boy was not looking down at his phone and used his cat-like reflexes to save the day.
