Beach concerts in Atlantic City canceled due to Tropical Storm Hermine

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (WTXF) Beach concerts in Atlantic City over the Labor Day weekend have been canceled, according to a statement released by the mayor.

Mayor Guardian said due to the significance of the approaching Tropical Storm Hermine,and out of an abundance of caution for concertgoers, staff, the bands they decided to cancel this weekend's beach concerts Florida Georgia Line and Blink 182 scheduled for this Saturday (9/3) and Monday (9/5).

According to the mayor, Atlantic City's casinos and restaurants will still be open for business He added, starting 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 3, 2016 through Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 12:00 p.m., the CRDA Wave Parking Garage will be open and free to park any cars that are usually stored in low lying areas.
