Bloody screwdriver found near man stabbed, shot in studio

Police say a man was found stabbed and shot in the basement of a Philadelphia recording studio known for churning out music from acclaimed hip-hop stars like Meek Mills and Mr. Cheeks.

A police spokesman said officers were called to Superior Sounds recording studio in Northern Liberties just before 7:30 a.m. Saturday.

They found a 30-year-old man who had been stabbed multiple times. The victim also sustained gunshot wounds to his head and back. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His name wasn't immediately released.

Police say a bloody screwdriver and fired cartridge casings were recovered from the scene.

This is an ongoing investigation.
