Bristol Township police investigate attempted child luring incident

Bristol Township police say they are investigating an attempted child luring incident.

The alleged incident happened Thursday on Glenrose Avenue near Malinda Drive in West Bristol.

According to police, a 10-year-old girl who just got off a school bus was walking home as a silver vehicle pulled up alongside her. Police say she started to walk faster, the vehicle followed along next to her for a short distance. The child began to run and the vehicle continued straight on Glenrose Avenue. Police say a man in his mid-20's, described as Indian with an accent, said 'Get in the car.' The male then reportedly winked as he took off his sunglasses. The man had a tattoo on his left bicep, straight light brown hair and greenish eyes. He was stocky and wearing a red shirt with "Pride" written on it, according to investigators.

Police say the vehicle is described as a silver or grey Chevrolet Impala with dark rims.
