Bristol Township police investigate attempted child luring incident
Bristol Township, Pa. (WTXF) - Bristol Township police say they are investigating an attempted child luring incident.
The alleged incident happened Thursday on Glenrose Avenue near Malinda Drive in West Bristol.
According to police, a 10-year-old girl who just got off a school bus was walking home as a silver vehicle pulled up alongside her. Police say she started to walk faster, the vehicle followed along next to her for a short distance. The child began to run and the vehicle continued straight on Glenrose Avenue. Police say a man in his mid-20's, described as Indian with an accent, said 'Get in the car.' The male then reportedly winked as he took off his sunglasses. The man had a tattoo on his left bicep, straight light brown hair and greenish eyes. He was stocky and wearing a red shirt with "Pride" written on it, according to investigators.
Police say the vehicle is described as a silver or grey Chevrolet Impala with dark rims.
