Buckcherry's tour bus involved in fatal, multi-vehicle crash

The rock band Buckcherry’s tour bus was involved in a multi-vehicle fatal crash in South Carolina. 

The band confirmed the news in a post on social media

What we know:

According to Buckcherry, the crash happened around 2 a.m. Friday on I-26 in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. A driver was involved in a crash "ahead of" Buckcherry’s bus, and when the driver got out of his vehicle, he was struck and killed by a Toyota sedan while standing on I-26, FOX Carolina reports.

What we don't know:

It’s unclear what caused the initial crash or how the tour bus was involved. 

What they're saying:

"We are extremely grateful to report that all members of Buckcherry and our touring crew are safe and unharmed," Buckcherry said in a statement. 

"Tragically, authorities have confirmed that the collision that occurred ahead of our bus resulted in a fatality.  Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the family and loved ones of the person who lost their life.

Buckcherry’s tour dates will continue uninterrupted, the band said.
