City slicker sheep gets new life

A story of compassion and of a bright new chapter in life.

A FOX 29 viewer sent a picture of a sheep. It was covered in snow in a North Philadelphia backyard.

The viewer's family was worried about the sheep since sheep are not permitted in Philadelphia city limits.

A few phone calls were made and Animal Control officers rounded up the big boy. They kept him at the shelter until Last Chance Ranch could save him.

The sheep, now known as Buffalo Bill, the city slicker sheep, is in Quakertown. He's warm and snuggly in a barn at Last Chance Ranch. The rescue can't do what it does without the generosity of others.
