Driver strikes, kills pedestrian in Montgomery County hit-and-run

MONTGOMERY COUNTY (WTXF) - One person was killed after being hit by a car Sunday morning in Montgomery County.

The incident took place around 5 a.m. on Route 309.

Investigators say a driver hit and killed a pedestrian walking in the northbound lanes near the exit to the PA Turnpike in Fort Washington.

Police have not yet identified the victim.
