Eagles fan Phil Basser, 99, enjoys Eagles NFC Championship win from suite

Phil Basser, a lifelong Philadelphia Eagles fan, was able to enjoy his first NFC Championship from the comfort of a Lincoln Financial Field suite thanks to the team.

As an early 100th birthday present, Phil's family planned to take him to Sunday's NFC Championship game at the Linc. However, due to the cold and lack of restrooms, the family feared they may not be able to bring Phil after all.

Then the Eagles stepped up.

The folks behind the Eagles organization, who heard Phil's heart-warming tale, pulled some strings and were able to put him and his family up in a suite where he could comfortably watch the game.

His family had said they hoped his presence would bring some magic to the Eagles, and that may very well have been the case as the team cruised to a 38-7 win over the Vikings.

"It's so incredible, I mean we watch on the couch all the time, but to actually be here and look at this atmosphere and see this stadium right now, it's honestly a dream come true," Phil's grandson Josh explained.

The city of Philadelphia can only hope some of the magic Phil brought on Sunday will last until they take on the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII.
