Eagles fans kick of 2018 NFL season at Penn's Landing

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Football fans will gather at Penn's Landing Thursday for a full day of events and celebrations headlined by a performance by singer/songwriter Shawn Mendes.

The NFL is hosting it's 2018 Kickoff on Philadelphia's waterfront at Columbus Boulevard and Market Street.

Gates open at 10 a.m. with events getting started at noon.

First up on the agenda is a Super Bowl LII rewatch party where fans can relive the Eagles first Super Bowl win in Franchise history.

Other events include a performance by Shawn Mendes, and a ticket giveaway for Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta.

NFL legends and former Eagles will be in attendance and fans will have a chance to take photos with the Lombardi Trophy and see the full collection of 52 Super Bowl Rings.

The events will end at 8 p.m. ahead of the Eagles 8:20 p.m. kickoff when they'll take on the Atlanta Falcons.
