Early morning fire damages West Philadelphia home

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - A heavy fire at a West Philadelphia home is now out, but there is damage.

Firefighters got to the scene on the 5100 block of Parrish Street just before 5am.

The flames were on the first floor of the two-story home.

Crews put out the flames quickly, in about 30 minutes, and no one was hurt.

Investigators are still looking for the cause of the fire.
