Ex-fire chief charged with sexual assault of minor
BARRINGTON, N.J. (WTXF) - Police have arrested the former fire chief of Barrington Fire Department and charged him with multiple sexual offenses against a minor.
Richard Rettinger, 42, was detained near his home in Camden County on Friday. Police say the alleged incidents happened at his residence.
Rettinger has been charged with second degree sexual assault and multiple counts of criminal sexual contact, according to police.
He is currently awaiting trial at Camden County Correctional Facility.
