Family Hopes for Answers in Death of 3-Year-Old Boy

NEW JERSEY (WTXF) It's been over a month since the body of 3-year-old Brendan Creato was found in the woods near his home. The circumstances surrounding his death still remain a mystery as loved ones pray for answers.

As Collingswood father Terrence Bing carries his 3-year-old son along on a family errand, another 3-year old-boy is not far from his thoughts. The body of Brendan Creato was found in the woods near his father's Haddon Township home where a memorial still stands, yet little has been revealed about how Brendan died.

"My clients are more anxious than anybody to get answers. We're very supportive of the investigation and we hope to hear something soon," said attorney Willian Brennan.

Brennan represents Brendan's grandparents and aunt. We asked Brennan about published reports indicating a grand jury investigation is underway into Brendan's death.

"I won't confirm whether there is or is not a grand jury. I really have no comment on that," Brennan said.

And a video posted online by Brendan's aunt a year ago with a storyline bearing a striking resemblance to Brendan's case is now raising eyebrows. Brennan says the story about a boy who goes missing was a school project.

While Brennan can't speak to reports of a grand jury in this case he says the evidence so far points to one thing.

"In my perspective there seems to be with the intense examination now in its 5th week the medical examiner's report the lab results there seems to be no indication of foul play whatsoever. It just seems to be a terrible tragic death," Brennan explained.
