FBI releases surveillance photos of suspects wanted for two bank robberies
Philadelphia (WTXF) - The FBI and Philadelphia police are seeking the public's help in finding the suspects responsible for two armed bank robberies Saturday.
The robberies happened Saturday morning. Police say around 10:30 A.M. one suspect armed with a gun entered the Citizens Bank on the 8600 block of Germantown Ave.
According to police, the suspect went to a teller and demanded money. The teller gave him an unknown amount of cash and he fled.
Then, just before noon, the same man and a second suspect entered a TD Bank on the 5500 block of Ridge Avenue. After flashing a gun, they both demanded cash. The teller gave the suspects an unknown amount of cash and they fled.
Police say the suspects were last seen heading north on Ridge Ave.
