Firefighter, 3 people injured in Camden house fire

A fast-moving house fire in Camden has left three people and a firefighter injured.

The fire broke out around 3 a.m. Monday on the 200 block of Grand Avenue.

Firefighters found one resident outside the home when they arrived. They soon rescued the other two, and all three were taken to hospitals. Their names have not been released.

Two of the residents had serious injuries, including one person who suffered burns to 50 percent of his body.

The injured firefighter suffered first-degree burns to the face while trying to rescue one of the victims.

FOX 29's Steve Keeley reports there were no working smoke detectors, electric, water or legal utilities at the home. The residents were allegedly getting electric from an adjoining house.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
