Folcroft police search for man wanted in attempted homicide of officer

FOLCROFT, Pa. (WTXF) - Folcroft police are searching for two murder suspects wanted in connection with a shooting in Chester Monday afternoon.

Investigators say one of the suspects is also wanted for the attempted homicide of a police officer.

Folcroft officers believed they spotted the two men in a Nissan Rogue with New York Plates near Taylor Drive in Folcroft around 5 p.m., and a police chase ensued.

One of the officers, according to police, was Folcroft Officer Christopher Dorman, who was shot in the line of duty two years ago.

According to police, the suspects eventually ditched the SUV and tried to run. That's when police say one of the murder suspects pulled a gun.
