Fraud suspect spent thousands on furniture, police say

Philadelphia Police are looking to identify a suspect in an alleged fraud case that occurred earlier this month.

The incident occurred back on August 2, around 12:15 p.m. at the Mecca Furniture store on the 100 block of East Front Street.

Police say the suspect used multiple identification cards to obtain financing on furniture.

The value of the furniture was estimated to be $4,400.

Police have described the suspect as a black male with a braided bun.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call police.
