Ice cream bars recalled in over 30 states over wheat allergy risk

Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, Inc. said it is voluntarily recalling a limited number of its Häagen-Dazs Chocolate Dark Chocolate Mini Bars that may potentially contain undeclared wheat. 

In a company notice published on the Food and Drug Administration’s website, individuals with an allergy or severe sensitivity to wheat may be at risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they eat the ice cream bars.

To date, there have been no illnesses or injuries reported connected to the recalled goods.

The recalled product is Häagen-Dazs Chocolate Dark Chocolate Mini Bars in a 6-count package with batch code LLA519501 and a best by date of January 31, 2027.

Dreyer’s stated in its announcement said no other Häagen-Dazs products or other batches of Häagen-Dazs Chocolate Dark Chocolate Mini Bars are affected by this recall.
