Local Tattoo Parlor Employee In Shoot-out With Robbers
PHILADELPHIA- WTXF - An attempted robbery of a tattoo parlor in the city's Strawberry Mansion neighborhood went awry last week when an employee of the business began firing at the suspects.
The incident took place January 14 at 7:49 p.m., at the parlor located on the 1900 block of North 31st Street. Two suspects entered the business and one pulled a handgun and began demanding money.
At that point, an employee pulled a handgun of his own and began to fire at the suspects. After a brief exchange of fire, in which a customer was wounded in the leg, the suspects fled.

The suspects' faces were clearly caught on video. The first is described as a black male, clean shaven, wearing a blue hooded jacket, gray sweatpants, gray knit hat, and armed with a handgun, while the second is a black male with a husky build, mustache with a beard, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with dark writing, dark colored jacket, blue jeans, and red sneakers.
