Man Attacked with Plumbing Wrench in Suburban Station
Philadelphia, PA (WTXF) - A SEPTA passenger was attacked with a wrench while waiting in line at a ticket booth on Tuesday.
Officials say that at a 58-year-old man standing in line at Suburban Station waiting to purchase a ticket when he was bludgeoned with a wrench by 38-year-old Jeremy Wilson.
The wrench first struck the older male in the head. This initial blow caused the man to fall to the ground. Whilst on the ground, police said Wilson struck the victim again.
Wilson was soon apprehended by an officer who was on guard in the station at the time. The victim was taken to Hanahman hospital. The older male is said to have sustained both head and other injuries but is in stable condition.
Charges have yet to be levied against Wilson.
