Man drives car into pole, splits it in half

EAST FALLS (WTXF) - Police say a 51-year-old man is in stable condition after he drove his car into a pole, which caused it to split in half.

The crash happened in East Falls just before 5am Sunday.

Police say they man was taken from the 3900 block of Henry Avenue to the hospital.

PECO said the crash did not cause any power outages.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
