Man shot and killed in Southwest Philadelphia

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Police in Southwest Philadelphia are investigating a homicide.

Investigators say police responded to a shooting call Sunday about 6:45 p.m. at South 61st Street and Woodland Avenue.

Police discovered a man with a gunshot wound to the head at the scene.

The man was transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Police say the investigation is ongoing. No weapon has been found and no arrests have been made.
