Man, teenage boy shot in North Philly

Police are investigating after two people were shot while sitting inside a car in North Philadelphia overnight.

The victims were allegedly approached by two men on the 200 block of West Ontario Street around 2 a.m. Saturday.

Officials say 16 shots were fired, injuring a 20-year-old man and 17-year-old boy.

The victims reportedly exited the car and went into a nearby house before being transported to Temple University Hospital. Both are listed in stable condition.

Investigators say an envelope full of cash was found on the ground next to the vehicle.

No arrests have been made at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.
