Man, woman critical after shooting in Kensington

KENSINGTON (WTXF) - Two people are in critical condition following a shooting in Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood Thursday night.

Officers responded to the 3200 block of G Street around 7 p.m. to find both victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

A 25-year-old man had been shot once in the lower body and once in the abdomen and was rushed to Temple University Hospital by responding officers.

Police say a 31-year-old woman had been shot four times, including twice in the chest, and was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle.

Both victims have been placed in critical condition and no arrests have been made at this time.
