Massive fire at home in Browns Mills leaves 2 dead
BROWNS MILLS, N.J. (WTXF) - Two people have died following a massive house fire in Browns Mills, New Jersey.
Firefighters responded to the scene on the 500 block of Willow Boulevard around 9 p.m. Tuesday. The fast-moving blaze claimed the lives of 92-year-old Lore Smith and an elderly man who has yet to be publicly identified.
Smith was pronounced dead after being transported to Deborah Hospital in Pemberton Township.
Another man was transported to Temple University Hospital and placed on a ventilator. He is listed in stable condition with complications from smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
