National Park entrance fees waived Saturday to kick off National Park Week
LOS ANGELES - If you didn't have any plans for Saturday, you might want to visit a National Park because entrance fees will be waived to kick off National Park Week.
The fee-free days do not cover amenity or user fees for activities such as camping, boat launches, transportation, or special tours.
National Park Week starts Saturday and ends on Sunday, April 28. There are more than 400 parks around the country that people can visit.
Once National Park Week kicks off, each day of the week is also themed.
In addition to fee-free Saturday, here are the other days where you can get into the National Parks for free.
If you head out to a National Park, the National Park Service encourages visitors to share their fun with #FindYourPark
