Newtown Square woman celebrates 109th birthday with boat ride

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - A local woman's birthday wish came true on Thursday.

Marion Roth just turned 109 years old. She celebrated in a big way. Roth rode on the Spirit of Philadelphia ship for the very first time. Her friends at her living community in Newtown Square put it all together.

As for advice for a long, healthy life Roth tells us to take each day as it comes and thank God each day that you're still here.
