Officials investigate fire at KFC in Wilmington
WILMINGTON, Del. (WTXF) - Fire crews responded to a fire at a KFC location in Wilmington, Delaware early Thursday.
A KFC employee alerted the New Castle County 911 Center of a fire in the storage area of the restaurant on the 1900 block of Lancaster Avenue around 8:30 a.m.
SKYFOX was over the scene as firefighters worked to get the fire under control as smoke poured from the roof.
The fire was placed under control at around 10:30 a.m. One firefighter was treated for a leg injury and was later released.
There were no other injuries reported.
