Officials: Man ran heroin mill at New Jersey apartment

Authorities say they've broken up a heroin mill and seized tens of thousands of doses of the drug.

Union County prosecutors say Sean Henderson is charged with maintaining a narcotics production facility, possessing heroin with the intent to distribute and other drug offenses. It's not known if the 30-year-old Elizabeth man has retained an attorney.

The charges announced Monday stem from a raid staged Thursday at an Irvington apartment. County, local and federal law enforcement agencies executed a search warrant there and seized about 1,420 bricks of suspected heroin and about 150 grams of raw heroin, along with packaging materials and other related items.

Henderson was arrested in Elizabeth on Thursday. He could face life in prison if convicted on the charges.
