Older woman robs three banks in South Jersey
HAMILTON, NJ (WTXF) - Police in Hamilton, New Jersey and Willingboro, New Jersey are investigating three bank robberies that occurred there on Friday and Saturday.
The first robbery occurred on Friday morning at 11:41 a.m. at the Wells Fargo Bank on 4306 Route 130 North in Willingboro.
Officers say a white female wearing all black clothing including a scarf over her head, approached a teller and passed a note demanding money.
Once the woman received a quantity of cash, she left the bank and headed north on foot towards the Goodwill Store. No weapon was seen and no one was injured.
Police say she is believed to be 5'6" in height and has blonde hair.
The second robbery occurred at the TD Bank located at 1130 Whitehorse Hamilton Square Road at 6:31 p.m. in Hamilton.
According to police, when officers arrived to the scene, they spoke with a bank employee who told them that a white female entered the bank. She then approached a bank teller and handed a note the employee demanding money.
A weapon was not seen at the time of the robbery.
The woman got an unknown amount of money from the teller. She then left the bank and fled in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported.
On Saturday at 8:54 a.m., officers responded to the TD Bank at 3470 Quakerbridge Road in Hamilton for the report of another robbery.
When officers arrived, the spoke with a bank employee who told them that a white female entered the bank, approached a bank teller, and handed them a note demanding money.
A weapon was not seen during the time of robbery.
The woman received an unknown amount of money, then left the bank and fled in an unknown direction.
The suspect described in both Hamilton incidents is a white female, 50-60 years of age wearing all black clothing and a scarf on her head. She was also wearing dark-colored sunglasses and carrying a bright green handbag.
She may be driving an older model black Honda Sedan.
