One dead, two injured after shooting in West Philadelphia, police say

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (WTXF) - Three people are shot and one of those is dead in West Philadelphia late Sunday afternoon, according to Philadelphia police.

The call came a little after 4:15 p.m. March 18. After police arrived to the scene at 52nd and Market Streets, they discovered one 42-year-old man and one 60-year-old man who had both been shot one time each.

Both of those men were transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. They are both listed in stable condition.

According to investigators at the scene, a 23-year-old woman was found shot. The woman was pronounced dead a short time later at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.

Police say this is an ongoing investigation. No weapon was found and no arrests have been made.
