PATCO operating on emergency schedule Monday morning
CHERRY HILL, NJ (AP) - PATCO trains are operating on an emergency schedule after a piece of construction equipment derailed near Woodcrest Station in Cherry Hill.
The Port Authority Transit Corporation says the machine, which is used to lift railroad ties, went off track one early Monday. Two workers were taken to a hospital for evaluation and were released.
PATCO trains will operate with adjusted departure times and two fewer trains between 7:03 a.m. and 8:03 a.m. Monday. Passengers should allow extra travel times.
