Pedestrian struck and killed on North Broad Street in North Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (WTXF) - A man has died after being hit by a vehicle on Broad Street.

The 50-year-old was walking in the northbound lane of Broad Street and Lehigh Ave around 9:30 a.m. Friday morning when he was hit.

Medical personnel transported him to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after.
