Philadelphia Police Officer arrested and charged after involvement in domestic assault
PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - A Philadelphia Police Officer has been arrested - and suspended with the intent to dismiss - after he was involved in an off-duty, domestic physical altercation with a woman who sustained facial injuries.
48-year-old Police Officer Joseph Sees, a 17 year veteran of the PPD, was taken into custody by Bensalem Police.
Sees was involved in a domestic physical altercation with a female victim while off-duty. The victim had injuries to the face, including a possible broken nose.
The original complaint came from surrounding neighbors because of the violent sounds of the altercation.
Sees was processed and charged with Simple Assault and Harassment.
Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey has suspect Sees for thirty days with the intent to dismiss.
