Philadelphia police seek help identifying decomposed body of man
PHILADELPHIA (FOX 29) - Police are asking for the public's help identifying the body of a man found badly decomposed and partially skeletonized in August 2018.
The man had several distinct tattoos. An artist rendering shows what the tattoos are believed to have looked like.
Authorities also provided photographs of items of clothing that were recovered along with the body, including black and red Nike athletic shoes, a dark colored vest with red lining and a Timex brand women's Ironman Triathlon watch.
The body was reportedly wrapped in two blankets: one pink blanket and one Eagles blanket.
Anyone with information about the man's identify or the circumstances of his disappearance is urged to contact Det. Joseph Bamberski at 215-686-3334 ext. 3335.
