Photo of mother breastfeeding son at wedding goes viral

GERMANY - A mother shared a photo of herself breastfeeding her 10-month-old son at a friend's wedding and its going viral.

21-year-old Naomi Jael, from Germany, shared the photo on Instagram, showing her making a playful expression as she breastfeeds her son TJ at one of the wedding tables.

"When you are at a wedding, wear fancy dresses and high heels and your baby gets hungry," she wrote.

"Well… You give no [expletive] and feed the kid."

The photo has gone viral since it was posted nearly a week ago and picked up by several parenting Instagrams and shared to thousands around the world.

After she received close to 5,000 likes on the photo, Jael edited her photo caption, according to the Daily Mail. In the new captions she addressed those who disagreed with her choice to breastfeed at the wedding.

"Whoever gets mad about this," she wrote, also using a laughing emoji.

"I also fed my son at the church ceremonie IN the church. Here in Germany people don't get mad about it [sic].

"It is NORMAL. Nothing rude or bad about it. This is why I have breasts! Cause God gave me boobs for feeding my babies [sic]."

Thousands have commented on the photo, either expressing praise or criticism for the mother.

"I love this picture it's beautiful/funny and truly just plain inspiring and it represents what breastfeeding should be. This picture just makes me want to be your friend lol," one commenter wrote.

"I do take issue with how much attention your trying to seek from such a "natural" thing. Don't over expose yourself. Wtf has happened to modesty [sic]," another commenter wrote.
