PHOTO: Veteran Police Officer Helps Fallen Runner Finish Marathon

A Georgia police officer helped a bloodied marathon runner who took a nasty fall 200 yards before the finish line.

A photo of the men crossing the finish line was posted on Facebook by the Savannah-Chatham Metro Police Department, where it's been shared nearly 2,000 times in the last few days.

After the spill, which cut up Robert McCoy's face and legs, officers and paramedics rushed to his aid.
