Police: 18-year-old critical after hit-and-run in Cherry Hill; suspect sought
CHERRY HILL, N.J. (FOX 29) - Cherry Hill police are searching for a suspect after a hit-and-run incident Thursday night left one man in critical condition.
Authorities say an 18-year-old pedestrian was attempting to cross Route 38 shortly before 9:00 p.m. when he was struck by a vehicle traveling westbound on the highway.
The driver of the striking vehicle did not stop.
The man suffered a head injury as the result of the collision. He was taken to Cooper Hospital Trauma Center and is currently in critical condition.
