Police: 19-year-old shot, killed inside Frankford restaurant
PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Police are investigating after a 19-year-old was shot and killed inside a Frankford restaurant Tuesday night.
Around 6 p.m., officers responded to the 4200 block of Frankford Avenue, where they found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his torso and legs.
The victim, later identified as Montez Boyd of Gilbert Street, was transported to Temple University Hospital. He was pronounced dead a short time later.
Police describe the suspect as a black man between 18 and 20 years old wearing a dark colored hoodie. He was last seen fleeing westbound on Church Street to a black vehicle, which went southbound on Frankford Avenue.
The investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time.
