Police: Bensalem man lied about military service to reduce DUI sentence
BUCKS COUNTY (FOX 29) - Police say a Bensalem man falsely claimed to be a former United States Navy veteran to receieve a lesser sentence for two DUI charges.
Authorities say Joseph E. Gorzoch, 41, claimed that he was injured by an explosion while serving in Afghanistan.
Prosecutors say Gorzoch "spun a web of lies," regarding his purported military service.
Gorzoch was sentenced to four to eight years in state prision and two years of probation for two seperate DUI charges and an alleged theft incident.
