Police: Father dies after son strikes him while backing up with vehicle

NORTH PHILADELPHIA - Police say a man has died after his son struck him with a vehicle while backing up in North Philadelphia.
It happened on the 3600 block of N. 2nd Street around 2 p.m. Wednesday.
The 64-year-old man was taken to Temple University Hospital where he died.
No word on what led to the accident.
