Police in Colwyn Borough investigate homicide

COLWYN BOROUGH, Pa. (WTXF) - Police in Delaware County are investigating a homicide in Colwyn Borough.

According to officials, Frank Powell was found dead in the street, along the 200 block of Francis Street, in Colwyn Borough Sunday, just after 6 p.m.

Investigators provided few details concerning the incident.

Fox 29 spoke with Colwyn Borough Mayor Maurice Clark who explained that he heard gunshots, walked outside to see what happened and discovered Powell lying in the street. Mayor Clark said that he and Powell were friends.
