Police investigate fatal motorcycle accident in Center City
CENTER CITY (WTXF) - Philadelphia police are investigating a fatal accident that happened Saturday afternoon.
It happened around 3 p.m. near 17th Street and the Ben Franklin Parkway.
Police say a 27-year-old man was driving a motorcycle and doing "wheel stands" when he crashed into the back of a truck.
The victim was taken to Hahnemann hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
This is an active and ongoing investigation.
