Police investigate sex assault involving middle school students

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Police are looking into a report of a sexual assault at an middle school in Overbrook.

A mom sent FOX 29 an image of a letter sent out to parents of Dimner Beeber Middle School.

The alleged incident only involves students.

The incident reportedly happened in a classroom with one girl and five boys after a teacher stepped out of the room.

Philadelphia Police's special victims unit is looking into the allegations.
